Delete your account
Two ways to do it, and what happens to your data either way.
In the app
Open Profile, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account. You will be asked to type a word to confirm. You do not have to ask us, and nothing is queued for review.
For your safety the app can only do this shortly after you have signed in. If it asks you to sign in again, sign out, sign back in, and the control will work.
This removes your sign-in credential immediately and irreversibly. You will not be able to sign in again.
Ask us to erase your data
The documents behind your account — your answers, measurements, sessions and access history — are not erased by that action today. They are left unreadable, behind an identifier nobody can authenticate as. If you want them actually erased, write to us and we will do it by hand within 30 days.
You can send this request whether or not you still have the app installed, and whether or not you have already deleted your account inside it.
Or write to support@fitonomyapp.com yourself, from the address on the account, so we can be sure the request is yours.
What is deleted
- Your account and the email address on it.
- Your goals, the areas you asked us to leave alone, and the health answers you gave during onboarding.
- Every assessment: the score and, where a position is measured with the phone's sensors, the angle recorded for each of the ten positions — and the mobility index and per-zone scores derived from them.
- Your activity: the sessions you completed and on which days, your streak, how hard you said each movement felt, and your session length and rest preferences.
- Your subscription record: the store order number, which plan you were on and when the period ended.
The accelerometer and gyroscope readings taken during a measured position are never part of this, because they are never stored. They are processed on your device, in the moment, and only the single number the position ended at is written down.
What is kept, and for how long
Crash and usage records — app version, device model, and which screens were opened — expire on Google's own schedule, at most 14 months. They describe a device and a build rather than a person, and are not linked back to a deleted account.
Apple and Google keep their own record of any purchase you made, because they took the payment and we never see your card details. We cannot delete that, and a request for it goes to them.
Your subscription is separate
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Billing belongs to the store you bought it from, so cancel it there — Google Play → Payments and subscriptions, or Settings → your name → Subscriptions on iPhone — and do that first, otherwise it renews against a store account you still have.
Anything else
You can also ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to restrict how we use it. Write to support@fitonomyapp.com. We answer within 30 days. What we hold and why is set out in the privacy policy.
